Profile / description of scientific interests

In 2008, Arkadiusz Rudawski, PhD, Eng., graduated from the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow in the field of Materials Science and Engineering in the Department of Biomaterials with a master’s degree in engineering. The master’s thesis concerned carbon-ceramic composites for the automotive industry. Then he completed an internship at DELPHI in Krakow, where he dealt with laboratory research and competition analysis. After the internship, he started working as a Chemical Technology Engineer and Composites Specialist at LINTER in Wolbrom, where he launched an R&D unit, organized and managed production processes, designed and prototyped plastic and polymer composite products, tested products according to standards, scaled technology from laboratory to semi-technical/industrial level, and participated in various trade fairs and conferences. At the same time, he began studies at the Faculty of Management at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow in the field of Management and Production Engineering, which he graduated in 2012 with the title of engineer. The engineering thesis concerned the Organization of production processes on the example of the production of composite products. After defending his engineering thesis and completing 4 years of work in industry, he passed the exam qualifying him to take up doctoral studies at the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow in the field of Materials Science and Engineering in the Department of Biomaterials. During his third degree studies, he conducted didactic classes, research work on polymer composites in medicine, automotive and construction, he also participated in projects under contracts with the National Centre for Research and Development. He completed his doctoral dissertation for the SGL Group for the branch in Meitingen. The topic of his doctoral dissertation concerned the Recycling of carbon fiber reinforced composites on a thermoplastic matrix. He defended his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering in 2018. Immediately after graduation, he was employed as a Development Manager at TEMKOP in Katowice and provided technical consulting services under a B2B contract as a JDG for Component in Rzezawa, for which he properly analyzed the product portfolio and technological capabilities and helped in introducing products to the market, their certification, testing according to standards, as well as process mapping, commissioning and optimization of the production line, analysis of the load on objects in the line and testing of Lean Management improvements. Currently, since 2019, he has been a Technology Broker at the Technology Transfer Center at the Cracow University of Technology and participates in project work.
