Success at the iCAN International Invention Competition 2024 in Canada!

We are proud to announce that a team of researchers, consisting of: Monika Topa-Skwarczyńska, Magdalena Jankowska, Katarzyna Starzak and Joanna Ortyl, has won a gold medal at the prestigious International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada (iCAN 2024). The awarded solution is an innovative, non-toxic resin with antibacterial properties, intended for the dental industry. This technology makes it possible to create temporary crowns and bridges using next-generation photocurable 3D printing.

What is iCAN? iCAN is an international invention competition organized by the Toronto International Society of Innovation & Advanced Skills (TISIAS). The event is considered one of the most important innovations in the world, attracting inventors from all over the world. This year’s ninth edition took place online on August 24, 2024 and gathered participants from 50 countries, presenting over 600 innovative projects. iCAN offers a platform to promote inventions, exchange knowledge and gain global recognition.
