Presentation at the 12th European Young Engineers Conference in Warsaw appreciated by the organizers

On April 15, 2024, our team was proud to take part in the 12th European Young Engineers Conference (EYEC), an international event held in Warsaw, dedicated to young engineers and their innovative research.

During the conference, we presented as many as three scientific posters that presented our research on the application of photopolymerization and 3D printing technology in dentistry. Among them, a poster by Katarzyna StarzakMonika Topa-SkwarczyńskaAndrzej ŚwieżyKarolina Kozanecka and Joanna Ortyl, entitled:
“Investigating the spectroscopic properties and kinetics of photopolymerisation processes based on new photoinitiators dedicated to dental applications”. She won first place in the competition for the best poster!

Other posters presented by our team are:

  • “Mechanism studies of new initiating systems for 3D printing of dental crowns and bridges” (authors: Małgorzata Noworyta, Katarzyna Starzak, Jakub Pietraszewski, Martyna Sitko, Andrzej Świeży, Filip Petko, Monika Topa-Skwarczyńska, Joanna Ortyl),
  • “Applicability of 3D technology to obtain dental prostheses” (authors: Karolina Kozanecka, Monika Topa-Skwarczyńska, Andrzej Świeży, Joanna Ortyl).

EYEC 2024 is an international event that brings together young researchers from all over Europe, allowing them to present the latest research and exchange experiences and ideas. We would like to congratulate Katarzyna Starzak and the entire team on this honourable distinction and thank the organisers for the opportunity to participate in such an inspiring event!
