On September 26, 2025, during the Małopolska Researchers’ Night, members of the OrtylPhotoLab team – Monika Topa-Skwarczyńska, Katarzyna Starzak, and Jakub Pietraszewski – involved in the implementation of the Lider project, had the pleasure of organizing and conducting the “Laboratory of Light” chemistry workshop at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Cracow University of Technology.
Participants had the opportunity to explore the fascinating relationship between light and chemistry through hands-on experiments, colorful reactions, and interactive demonstrations.
In addition, the team members took part in the “3D Printing in Action!” workshop, where visitors could see how modern additive manufacturing technologies are transforming the world of science and engineering.
The Małopolska Researchers’ Night, organized by the Marshal’s Office of the Małopolska Region, is part of the European Researchers’ Night initiative. Each year, it brings together thousands of science enthusiasts across the region for an inspiring evening full of experiments, demonstrations, and meetings with scientists.
We are proud that members of OrtylPhotoLab could share their passion for science with the community and inspire future engineers and researchers to explore the fascinating world of chemistry and technology!
