From April 7 to April 9, 2025, our team had the pleasure of participating in the 13th edition of the European Young Engineers Conference (EYEC), a prestigious international event hosted annually in Warsaw. This conference continues to be a remarkable platform for young engineers to showcase their research.
This year, two of our team members proudly represented us with a total of two oral presentations, one scientific poster, and two monograph articles, all focusing on the innovative use of photopolymerization and 3D printing technologies in the dental industry.
Jakub Pietraszewski delivered an oral presentation titled “Kinetic Studies of New Photoinitiating Systems to Obtain High-Performance Resins Dedicated to 3D Printing”, in which he presented novel photoinitiating systems compatible with visible light, demonstrating their effectiveness in enhancing the reactivity and performance of 3D printing resins. He also showcased a scientific poster entitled “Investigations into the Influence of the Type of 3D Printers Available on the Market and Their Parameters on the Resolution and Shrinkage of the Obtained Printouts”, based on his latest experimental work on optimizing printing parameters for improved precision in photopolymerization.
Katarzyna Starzak delivered an oral presentation titled “Spectroscopic, Kinetic and Applicational Analysis of Novel Photoinitiating Systems Dedicated to Obtaining Safe and Non-Toxic Dental Materials Manufactured Using 3D Printing Methods.” Her presentation focused on the development of biocompatible materials for dental applications, highlighting the role of advanced spectroscopic methods and kinetic analysis in the design of safe photopolymer systems.
Jakub also contributed with 2 monograph articles further detailing his research contributions, reinforcing their commitment to advancing the field of polymer chemistry and additive manufacturing.
